Welcome, I offer a variety of therapeutic services designed to support your emotional and mental well-being. My approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, creating a safe space for personal growth and healing.

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, I will stand by your side and gently guide you as we work together to unpack and fully understand the various aspects of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can move towards acceptance, self-compassion, and heal. I work from an attachment-based prospective, as well as a strength-based approach. I use a combination of sensorimotor processing, emotionally focused individual therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and a recognition of the contextual and cultural factors that are constantly at play in our worlds. You will find your experience with me holding, warm, at times challenging, but, hopefully, always safe.

Couples Therapy

It is never too early to begin couples therapy, and I often hear couples express a regret in not starting sooner. In my experience, taking the step to begin couples therapy is often the salve to the disconnection and loneliness a couple can face. I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Supervisor, which. means I am not only certified to practice this type of therapy, but I support others in learning and applying the model. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidenced-based attachment model. Using this model, I will help you and your partner unpack the cycle of disconnection you may find yourself in. As your relationship guide, I will help the two of you understand why you keep having the same argument and/or get to the root of the blocks to secure attachment. This often leads to deeper understanding, increased intimacy, and overall relationship satisfaction. Sometimes, though, this process may also mean it is time to end the relationship. There are ways to do this with respect, love and kindness. Either way, I will be there with you both to navigate these waters and help find the best path for your couplehood.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a special modality where the therapy focuses on healing and strengthening bonds within families. I utilize Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to support families in this process. It is possible to work with any configuration of family members and at any point across the lifespan. There is something truly beautiful in nurturing and shepherding families into deeper connection. I help parents connect more clearly with their caregiving intentions, uncover their parental fears, and identify the blocks that may negatively impact the connection to their children. This often leads to children, whether they are 8-years old or 38-years-old, opening up more about their experience and trusting their parents more to hold and listen to their needs. The goal of this therapy is to have a more authentic, connected, and vulnerable relationship within the family.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

I offer therapy to children, preteens, and teenagers. Usually, I find a combination of family, parent collateral, and individual therapy can be the most helpful in this age group. Although I do think it is important for kids and teenagers to be able to have a space to talk about their feelings and to understand their internal worlds on their own, I find parental involvement to be critical in supporting the therapy. I find it helpful to support kids and teenagers understand their internal worlds by tuning into their bodily cues, expanding upon the nuances of their emotional awareness, and by leaning on helpful adults and loved ones. Kids and teens today face overwhelming pressures from social media, academic performance, and extracurriculars, leading to heightened stress. In therapy, I aim to help them find balance amid the chaos by promoting self-compassion and recognizing their worth beyond achievements. Together, we’ll learn how to develop coping skills to help them have a healthier relationship with themselves and others. Ultimately, the goal is to encourage them to embrace their unique journeys while prioritizing wellness, connection, and balance.
